Clear, credible leadership communication
Leaders rarely struggle with ideas.
The challenge is to express those ideas clearly enough for people to understand and – importantly – act on them.
The thinking probably feels obvious to the leadership team because they've been steeped in it for weeks, maybe months. Explaining it from first principles to everyone else isn't easy. The solution is to translate it into a narrative that makes sense to everyone else. Without that clarity, even strong ideas can struggle to land.
I work with leaders to shape and refine their communication so it says exactly what they mean, clearly, credibly, and without unnecessary complexity.
This might include:
- Leadership messages
- Strategy launches or updates
- Internal announcements
- Speeches and talking points
- Important communications where the wording really matters
Sometimes, the message is already there and just needs sharpening. Sometimes it needs shaping so the meaning comes through exactly as you intend.
Either way, my role is simple: to make sure your message lands.
Thoughtful refinement
Every leader has a distinctive voice. My role isn't to replace that voice, but to refine it.
I start by understanding what you want people to understand. From there, I help clarify the core message and refine the language so it sounds natural, confident, and clear.
The result is communication that feels authentic to you, but lands far more effectively with the people receiving it.
Leadership communication
Refining key messages and announcements so they are clear, credible, and aligned with your intent.
Thought Leadership
Shaping ideas and perspectives into clear, compelling narratives that reflect your voice and authority.
Business Documents
Strengthening strategy papers and reports with clear narrative logic, so complex ideas become accessible and actionable.
Narrative Structure
Developing the underlying logic of your message to improve clarity, coherence, and persuasive flow.

About me
I specialise in helping leaders communicate complex ideas clearly. My background combines extensive experience in strategic business communication with editorial precision.
I've worked closely with leadership teams on strategy communication, organisational change, and culture change messaging. This work has given me a deep understanding of the challenges leaders face in explaining complex ideas simply and credibly.
Alongside this, I help leaders shape and refine important messages so they say exactly what they mean, clearly, confidently, and authentically.
I hold an MBA, and I'm a qualified executive coach. They combine powerfully to shape how I approach leadership communication, drawing on an understanding of both business strategy and the human dynamics of leadership.
At its heart, my work is guided by the knowledge that people are far more likely to support change when it makes sense to them.
